The brand was established in January of 2018 with the intention to provide fashion services that would enhance each client's company and goals. KALAELISE prides itself on being flexible, reliable, and dedicated to each client. Since the establishment of KALAELISE the company has gained several clients who have given opportunities such as: Travel to Cambodia to set up a minor production company, work with retailers and buyers to establish fit for a plus size athleisure brand, and Travel to Turkey to adjust production standards & finalize production samples.

A B O U T THE DESIGNER
KALA BENNETT
As of Spring 2017, I graduated with honors from the University of North Texas with two degrees; BFA in Fashion Design and a BBA in Business Entrepreneurship.
I create fashion that has elegant silhouettes and an innovative attitude. As a designer I feel there are no limits on creativity, therefore I’ve explored designing in a variety of different categories, such as Eveningwear, Denim, Sportswear and Menswear.
I have been designing ever since I could hold a pencil, and have been involved in several competitions and fashion events. Including the Teri Costa Prom Dress Design, the Galleria Fashion Camp, the Denton Trashion Fashion Show, and the FGI Dallas Competition.
I have interned with Shirin Askari, owner and designer of ASKARI, former contestant on Project Runway. I have worked for the lingerie company, Commecci, as a patternmaker and sewer. I was the office assistant for the UNT Fashion Design Department. A creative content builder at Gerber Technology. A fit model for JCPenney's, as well as a Menswear technical designer. Currently I am the founder and creative director of Kalaelise.
